Ink is undoubtedly my favourite medium, and the sketch is my preferred approach to drawing. Sketching in ink can be playful and definitely allows for experimentation.
For me, a successful ink sketch captures “something” at the core of the subject I am drawing. If I can sit back and see and feel that captured “something” mirrored in the sketch itself, then I am pleased with my efforts.
